"Amazing staff, I still remember the warmth of their welcome and goodbye. Experienced the cozy atmosphere in their traditional Japanese style building, every room/facility got a meaningful Japanese name. Great view in private dining room. "Disappointing. We arrived late at night, and no one was at the reception. Despite trying to call, we received no answer. After waiting 20 minutes, the concierge finally appeared but didn't bother checking our travel documents. The physical key provided was difficult to use, and the lack of English or French speakers made it impossible to seek information. We felt lost and decided to check out early. It was NOT a pleasant experience, definitely NOT. 😔"

"Great location in seaside Atami. Easy to get to train station and shopping as well as ferries and rope way. Dining was a great option in hotel as we traveled in from the USA and it solved that piece for us. Staff was friendly and rooms were well appointed and comfortable."

"Grand old place in need of a big clean, but absolutely phenomenal experience. The staff were fantastic; friendly and helpful. The dining room and food stations were unbelievable. A pianist was playing during dinner. It was amazing. Nice hot Onsen too. One was outside overlooking the ocean. Very special. I loved that I could have the window open. The room was so spacious and the view was incredible."
