"This resort appears to be popular with families with little kids. We got a room with 2 beds and 2 futons so it was larger than the usual futon only rooms. It had a bathroom but no shower, with expectations that you would shower at the onsen. They had free parking which was nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast of our trip with lots of items to choose from. "

"A nice Ryokan Hotel. It's rice theme is carried through in the hotel decor as the area is surrounded by rice fields. Good concept & architecture or interior design. Hotel is next to a fast flowing river & tall Bamboo grove which give it a unique continuous sound & calming ambiance....next to your room. "room and onsen is good but service kinda slow"

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "
