"The hotel smells really good when you walk in. It’s spotless. I had booked a larger room meant for four and it was beautiful and quiet. They give you very nice amenities and the public bath is a great plus. I woke early and it was empty both mornings. The staff is helpful. The pajamas are nice. I would stay here again and rent the big room. If you are vegetarian there is no breakfast option. "

"For the price this was more than worth it. Excellent location 2 mins walk to Omicho market and many buses to the train station, the various chaya districts and Castle. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. As typical with most Japanese bathrooms, there is a powerful shower and YES it has the latest TOTO !! It is best to take a taxi from the train station to get to the hotel though (approximately 1500 Y) I would definitely stay here again."

"I had stayed at a Daiwa Roynet before and didn't know what to expect. But, the hotel was really quite nice. The room was comfortable, though it lacked cupboard space, so you live out of your suitcase -- which I don't like. However, everything else was very good. The public bath was very lovely; the breakfast quite nice; housekeeping was excellent. All-in-all, great value for the money and convenient to the train station. Without hesitation, I would stay again. "
