"Staying at Fa was truly a mixed bag; moments of bliss and delight but times of frustration. There was plenty of parking and the location in Helmsley is beautiful. "Lovely village pub perfect location for us to visit fountains Abbey rooms were comfortable and lovely and warm its basic but thats all part of the charm of this lovely old pub breakfast was an extra £10 each but was delicious and plenty of it the landlord made sure we were well looked after and had everything we wanted.we had a few drinks in the bar and there was plenty of choice and it was nice and cosy area to catch up with friends. Would stay again."

"We had a couple of nights stay in the New Inn and it was a lovely clean comfortable place. Great check in and access to a fridge, plates and cutlery if you need it. Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away. "

"We've stayed here before the pub is in the town center with free parking. Rooms are dated but clean, double usb sockets on bedside lamp (nice touch). Staff are polite and friendly. Nice cheap accommodation in the heart of malton. Busy karaoke bar but not too noisy in the room. Will stay again. "

"Excellent accommodation. Hosts went above and beyond for us. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lovely homely cottage and beautiful views. Ideal location to visit Dalby Forest, York, Whitby, Scarborough etc. Locals were all so kind and helpful too. Would highly recommend."
