The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. "A lovely stay at the Royal Oak for one night. Very friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to arrange late access to the property due to us having to return to the room late at night. Breakfast was excellent, with options for full English or kippers, plus plenty of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt. The car park is very small, and can't accommodate all vehicles, however there is ample parking on the road at the front of the property. The room was comfortable with clean linens....

We booked a double superior room & although the bed was very big the room was really quite small & ready for some refurbishment.
