"Just come home from using this property as a pit stop on my trip. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Took care of my needs when i explained. My room had all i needed. The bed was so comfty. I didn't want to get up. Breakfast was lovely too. Nice shirt walk to town. Perfect. Only one little thing i would say, which can be amended. Is cold draft coming from under the door. So maybe a draft cushion or a flap fitted to bottom of the door to stop all the warmth getting out and cold coming in....

"Third time we have stayed here which ought to say something. Very convenient for the A1 and the rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome. "Despite lots of negative reviews we enjoyed our stay here decent check in pleasant lady - room was set up for family but it didn’t hinder anything copious amounts of hot water bath and shower available. Hotel is going through refurbishing so you get what you pay for- car parking is £5 so not out of the way-bar and food prices are reasonable. We used it purely as a stop over for Leeds Bradford Airport due to forecast bad weather conditions. It met expectations !!"
