"This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15...

"Visited for a three-day business trip to York. Lovely hotel 3 or so miles from York City Centre. Room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is a little dated but again, spotlessly clean. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on all three days and whilst not the cheapest meals I have had in Hotel restaurants, the quality was very good. Service was excellent. After a run, I tried to purchase a bottle of water but the bar only had sparkling. The young lady behind...
