"It was a property where we could truly experience the renowned reputation of Banyan Tree, and the accommodation we stayed in satisfied every member of our family. The friendly service of the staff left a lasting impression. One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. "One night before we flew back to Bangkok. They made sure our rooms were close together, they were super efficient at the front desk and all the staff performed their duties in a professional manner. Located on the beach, 10 minutes from the airport you can’t beat this place if you need to catch an early flight the next morning. "

"Check in was a nightmare my room was not ready I waited over 2 hours and I was given a room I didn’t choose. My room didn’t have towels it took them 2 hours to bring any. I would call the lobby 2-3 times no answer I wouldn’t stay here again "

"We were blown away by SALA, the property is exceptional and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. The restaurant offering is outstanding in both Thai and Western cuisines and the Spa was also very good. The Mai Khao area is much quieter than other areas on Phuket but has a nice feel to it and suited us (family with a 3 year old) perfectly. Would highly recommend and will definitely return at some stage. Only downsides to the stay was the beach was closed for swimming due to rough waves and there was quite a lot of rubbish washed in from the surf (both outside the resorts control)"
