The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient. The hotel itself is true to its name — grand in design, well-maintained, and very clean. There's a real sense of history and elegance throughout the property. For the level of comfort and service provided, we felt the price was more than fair. "We love Amba hotels. Nice size rooms, great locations, free laundry, ice machines and friendly staff. This one has a great location and we enjoyed being right in the action. Room was quiet even with the action on the streets below. Metro station is a short walk too. We did everything including day trip to Juifen with the hotel as a base. Very walkable. Super convenient and really welcoming. Highly recommend. "
