"It is in the grounds of a castle, you can walk around the grounds. he road to it can be easily missed but as it is in a small village you will not get lost. The hotel is new , the bed was a little too hard for my liking. I had to change room as the room was not made up but the staff sorted me out with a new room quickly. the top class restaurant next door in the chateau by the moat is was not open on the day i went but the hotel has a limited but very good food. "

"New option in Paderborn is welcome. GREAT location with modern rooms and nice to have restaurant in hotel. Breakfast was solid, those that want great variety might be somewhat disappointed but all the normal “German Breakfast” elements were there. Coffee was good. Things in need of improvement… No hooks. Room, bathroom and entryway lack hooks that would be nice to have. The towel pegs in bathroom are on back wall of shower so you can’t use while showering otherwise the things you hung would...

"First of all i need to say that this hotel is a place for retired people,not a hotel. Nice pictures in the photos,but everything is wear and old.The room smelled as mold . reception, had to wait in the car someone to come to check me in .I don't recommend it ."

"Rooms are great and spacious, also clean. We’ve booked some massages in advance which were also great value. (Keep in mind these are wellness, not medical!). However, the Fitness room needs some proper maintenance. Water rower out of water, Spin bikes barely moving, Weight stand bend, .. Nothing serious, but unexpected in a pricey 4* Hotel. Same is true for the Sauna Area. Like the knobs to hang your bathrobe/towel are either gone, or super loose. Again, it does function and I had a few Sauna...

"Called ahead to ask about parking and was told there was plenty. Finding a legal parking space was difficult quite far from the hotel. People were nice, easy walking to food, old and quaint but clean and comfortable."

"As always - great warm welcome at this hotel. "Welcome Home" brought a smile to my face. Thank you. Restaurant provides really great food and the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Much prefer to stay here than the larger hotels in Paderborn as it is also really quiet to aid a good night's sleep"

"The room was comfortable but the air conditioning or the fan did not work so the room was very warm and stuffy. The dinner in the restaurant was exceptionally good. "

"We went skiing in Winterberg and choose the appartement as it is very close to the skiing area. Unfortunately there were no natural snow in Winterberg in February, more than half the lifts were closed and only a few slopes open. Due to weather and climate change the skiing was limited. But the appartement itself is nice and clean."
