"Lovely old style hotel, we had a large room with a very comfortable bed, modern wood furniture, nice new bathroom with walk-in shower. the house has a beautiful park/garden on the shores of the lake. breakfast was brought to the table and not fantastic, as there were few guests it probably was not worth having the buffet but choice and quality could be better. other than that highly recommended hotel."

"Rooms are great and spacious, also clean. We’ve booked some massages in advance which were also great value. (Keep in mind these are wellness, not medical!). However, the Fitness room needs some proper maintenance. Water rower out of water, Spin bikes barely moving, Weight stand bend, .. Nothing serious, but unexpected in a pricey 4* Hotel. Same is true for the Sauna Area. Like the knobs to hang your bathrobe/towel are either gone, or super loose. Again, it does function and I had a few Sauna...
