"This was our 1st time staying. When we arrived to the room there was 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. No Bath towels for showers? No blow dryer, No Microwave , No working phone, No chairs for balcony. We paid $250.00 a night plus fees. I’m almost 63 years old and have NEVER stayed at a place without the necessities? "It was a lovely room in a great location. Centrally located. One of only 3 rooms in the building. It was comfortable and spacious!! We received numerous emails with information and instructions, all easy to follow. The parking garage was around the corner and easily accessible. And, after leaving, I realized I left a few articles of clothing in the closet which they quickly mailed out to me. An overall great experience!!!"

"We've stayed in this former house before, and were happy to come back. The rooms can be basic, but always clean and supplies all you need. I love their breakfast set up in the kitchen, and the self check in instructions sent to my phone. Please keep your voices low in the public areas, as the rooms aren't sound proof. It's a cute, funky, Folly stay, with parking and easy walking to Center St."

"The hotel was impeccably decorated for the holidays and it was beautiful! Everyone we encountered at the hotel was so polite and helpful. Our room was well appointed and had all the comforts you could think of, which included robes, slippers, umbrellas, bottled water, etc. The one drawback to the room was that it didn’t have a mini fridge. We loved having the pastries and coffee in the morning too! Bed and pillows were very comfortable!"

"This is a wonderful property with outstanding service. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very attractive and comfortable as was the hotel lounge. My review is 4 vs 5 star as there is not restaurant on site and even though breakfast is included in the room rate, it’s not up to the same quality as the rest of the hotel. "

"The inn is adorable and quaint. It’s an old Charleston single. But if you have trouble with stairs, you wouldn’t want to book the upper rooms. The staircase is narrow and steep. Also it’s not the most quiet as it’s situated in a busy area, but no worries, just use the white noise machine they provide or bring your own personal fan like we did. "

"Very beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Loved the espresso machine just outside our hotel room. Walkable to everything downtown. The restaurant is top notch (with exception of our inattentive aloof bartender), but the the food made up for it. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in town. "
