"This is a very beautiful property in a remote part of Connecticut. For that reason, it is especially important that the food be excellent and varied but it is not. The coffee is sometimes mediocre but often has a charred flavor. Room service is frequently served lukewarm to cold. When you are in the middle of nowhere with the nearest coffee shop 10 minutes away the coffee should be excellent. Breakfast should be wonderful and sadly the options are extremely limited and not broadly appealing....
