"This was my first trip to New Orleans and I couldn't have been happier with the historic Mardi gras inn. Jazmin and Sean/Shawn were both amazing. Jazmin gave us great recommendations for food in the area and Sean was able to give us great recommendations for drinks and the night life. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to town. Our room was super cute, the courtyard was quiet and relaxing, and everything we needed or wanted was within walking distance. "Location was excellent and very easily walkable to the busy areas, yet quiet and relaxed at the hotel. Parking worked out for us, but do not count on having it available - very few spots. Rooms are not accessible for anyone that cannot do steps (our room in a back corner of second floor required steps even with elevator use). Room was large and plenty comfy. The bathroom was very good, with a very deep tub. Loved the hotel overall!"

"Older property as you might expect for a location deep in the French Quarter. One block from Bourbon Street, but you do not hear any associated noise from that area. Only complaint is the somewhat low water pressure in the shower, other than that we loved it and would stay there in the future."

"The property was excellently maintained, although some aspects were a little shabby. This included the bedding, which was very worn out. The check in process was exceedingly slow due to only one person checking people in at check in time which was after four on Monday. Although the staff person was proficient and friendly and very helpful, it does take a certain amount of time to check people in. The line got very long and backed outside the door. I think that it would be helpful if you had more than one staff person at the check-in time to help with the overflow. "
