"It’s a wonderful tranquil retreat.The rooms are either ocean views or rainforest views.The suites are large and comfortable.The bathroom is huge and spa like.There’s a balcony with seating that you can enjoy off the living area.The kitchenette is well supplied with pots,pans and utensils.There is a full size fridge.We really enjoyed our stay.Check for special deals as you can a lot in off seasons."

"We are a retired couple who enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at the James Bay Inn Hotel and Suites. Our stay was at the end of January into February. We had a corner room with lots of big windows on the third floor with a comfy king bed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The pub & restaurant downstairs were convenient & we found the food very good for a fair price. Service was excellent! It is important to note this beautiful heritage property has characters, history, and has been kept up well. Since it is a heritage property be aware that there are stairs and no elevator. We had no trouble but anyone with issues climbing stairs should ask staff about assistance with luggage if possible or request a room on a lower floor. We found our room cozy even with the cool/colder weather conditions outside and with an extra blanket provided in a dresser drawer in the room. Heating is by radiators. We appreciated that our room had plenty of drawers, hooks, and a spacious bathroom which appeared to have been recently renovated. Lots of hot water and great water pressure! We enjoyed several cups of coffee in the spacious lobby as well as the lemon infused water also available in the lobby. Guests who appreciate a well-cared for heritage property and a friendly welcoming staff, would surely enjoy staying at the James Bay Inn. We hope to return! "
