"Really impressed with how the reception handles issues. Room cleaning was really on point daily just that if you forget to turn notice from make my room up to do not disturb, the housekeeper will keep banging the door.. Aside that it’s a good place to stay. "

"Loved the resort. We stayed in the Beach Junior Suite which was very close to the beach. The room is large and quite with a great bed and shower. The resorts grounds are well kept. The dining area is right on the water with fantastic views and accommodating staff. The food can be better, but that was our experience in all of Tanzania so can't fault this resort for it. "

"Z Hotel is a spectacular tropical Oasis in Zanzibar! The staff, especially Julia was fabulous, the grounds and decor were beautiful and the food was delicious! I would stay here everytime I would be lucky enough to visit Zanzibar and I will tell everyone I know not to look any further than Z Hotel."

"I have travel to many beach resorts. By far this was the best place I have stayed at. What made the stay fun and enjoyable was the staff. Every employee was friendly and outgoing. The front desk was very helpful. Answered any question and was helpful. I could name people but it would be to many, everyone was great. Would love to come back one day. "

"Beautiful hotel on the beach at the north end of Zanzibar. This beach was quieter than the west side of Nungwi. Less "beach boys" hassling you on the beach."

"My partner and I stayed for 4 days and we loved! We had a great time. All the staff were ao nice, respectful and kind. From Mohamed who made our check-in to all the other staff, cleaners, kitchen… thank you so much! The location was very convenient, walking distances to many restaurants, in front of the beach with an incredible view and facilities. I would highly recommend it and would stay again."

"The property was great. The pool was convenient and there was plenty of sun chairs for the amount of guests. The resort has everything you need from a convenient store, massage, PADI shop and two restaurants. The happy hour is great but the food is so-so. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant are kind but sometimes on island time and orders aren’t always correct, which happens sometimes. Overall would recommend. Wonderful resort!

"We stayed here for 5 days and it was so relaxing! The resort is beautifully done with all the amenities: pool, spa, shops, restaurants, entertainment and private beach area with deck chairs for hotel guests. The food was great - We had breakfast included and ate a few time at their Fisherman's Grill restaurant. We saw they also offer half-board or all inclusive with a variety of food choices, if you prefer this option. The room was lovely and spacious - we booked a seaview room and it was directly on the beach. Had all the amenities, good air conditioning, shower and comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and so friendly. Always available to help and made our stay perfect! Would happily stay here again!"
