"I booked 3 days to stay in this property. We decided on the first day that it is not for us and refunded the last day. Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. "Very much an Air B’nB property with a long set of rules and no engagement with staff but perfectly placed to explore the Hakone area. "The property exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have is that some of the entries in their complementary guidebook led to some wasted time due to inaccuracies. I would definitely go to this accomodation again but I hope by then they have updated their book. Also there's the apparent fact that no public onsen seem to be in the area, so you should probably plan for going to hakone yamoto (hope I spelled that right) to get access to those. There actually is a small public one near this...
