"The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "

"Accommodations for five to sleep, but ONLY a small couch for TWO people to sit. No extra stools or chairs. Very uncomfortable to relax. Not even a bath stool in the shower room. "

"Unfortunately you could hear the loud noise from the crossing nearby until fairly late at night. We could also hear someone’s TV in the night. Check in was very quick and easy, polite staff and a generally very clean and pleasant premises. The room was pretty spacious and very clean too."

"コスパに関して、今まで宿泊したホテルのうちでトップだと思います。スタッフの対応の良さもさることながら、無料の朝夕食はおいしい。バストイレ付きはもちろん、今回、大浴場には入っていないけど、倉敷美観地区のど真ん中にあるのに、この値段でこれだけのサービスを提供してもらって、やっていけるのだろうかと心配になったほど。今回は事情で一人で泊まりましたが、帰宅して妻に話をしたところ驚いていました。次回は夫婦連れでお世話になります。ありがとうございました。"

"美観地区の中にある、歴史あるホテルです。ロビーの壁画も廊下も部屋も、従業員の立ち振る舞いも、歴史を感じさせてくれてとてもいい体験でした。建物はきちんとリニューアルされていて、水回りや空調等、設備も充実してます。電気自動車の充電設備まであって、プラス1,000円で朝まで使わせてもらえました。また倉敷に来ることがあったら、必ずここにお世話になろうと思います。ありがとうございました。"

"The ryokan was a very special experience. A beautiful place to stay in historic Kurashiki. It was a treat to be in such a uniquely Japanese space with the tatami floor, the futon and the special bath. Lovely staff too. "
