The harbor is Less than 10 min away and the subway and transportation to visit other areas is within walkable distance. I totally recommend it! "

"Whenever we return to Kobe from US, we stay here at least a couple of days. We always look forward to the quiet atmosphere, excellent buffet for morning and/or evening, or ala carte (menu is very extensive) restaurant. We love the Onsen, of course! This is one of the main reasons we come back to Kobe Minato Onsen Ren. Staff are always courteous and polite. We are planning to stay again in April this year. Looking forward to it very much!"

"Overall very good to stay, but just one disappointed was a reception guy when we checked in. He firstly insisting that the hotel would not provide a linen(towel, tooth brush, etc.) and breakfast services for my son under their hotel policy. Sounds too much protective stance, and made us very unhappy. He should be re-educated."

Just steps from Motomachi shopping street, and super close to the Minatomotomachi subway station entrance (just across the street). Room was very clean, and I had no complaints about the shared bathroom arrangement. The best part however, is that there is a fantastic laundry place (ストランドリー STLAUNDRY （大型コインランドリー) 3 minutes walk from the hostel that takes card, does a full wash/dry cycle for only 1000 yen. "I enjoyed my time walking around the area and seeing how it feels moving around in this country. It helped inform my decision to move to the country soon. It also made meeting my family easier since it’s walking distance from a major train station. The room was small and didn’t have much but personally, I don’t need much so this was perfect. When I visit family again, I am most certainly coming back. "

"Close to Osaka station where shopping and restaurants around. A lawson and a drug store just downstairs. Clean and looks newly renovated. The room is spacious with an extra bed for my little one. Thanks for the staff for a free upgrade. The onsen is not clean enough though. The elevators sometime a long wait."
