"Awesome location and view of the Indian Ocean. From our balcony we had direct view of the beach and the ocean. The room was spacious, with nice and comfortable furniture, and bedding. Very nicely decorated. Very clean and one of the best stays that we had. Staff were super nice and accommodating. We loved having drinks and appetizers outside on the deck. Live music added to the very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel has a great location, and a really nice
pool
. But there are stairs to get everywhere. No elevators. The staff was exceptionally service minded - and helpful. But we did not get any recognition for the Hotels.com membership - we should have gotten a bottle of wine and som discount on the VIP membership."

"Very well located, in front of the old fort. The hotel has a diesel generator, wich is important in Zanzibar since the eletricity is not reliable. One day in the morning rained a lot and the eletricity was down but right after the generator took over. Great breakfast. A small but good
pool
in the top floor. The room was big. Very good hotel. "

"- Hotel in great condition, rooms really big and the decor all around the property is lovely. - A/c in the rooms and the power works most of the time and they have a backup generator. - Staff super friendly and knowledgeable - Internet is okay. I was there for work so I probably needed it more than the average traveller. - Could do with a bit more bottled water in the rooms - Good location close to everything - Breakfast a bit boring (fruit, cereal, eggs, crepe).
