A nice and cozy hotel in the middle of busy stone town of Zanzibar. The staff and breakfast are really great and the rooms comfortable.

The Golden Tulip was again my stay of choice in stone town. Walking distance to everything and attractions makes this the ideal place to stay. 5 ⭐ isn't enough!

This property is right by the ferry making it the most convenient choice one could make. The rooftop terrace offers great sunset views and the restaurant on the terrace serves tasty Indian cuisine that is top notch. The lobby has a fountain that id want in my own home. I love the paintings on each floor the pool area is filled with greenery and has lots of space. Id highly reccomend this property to anyone visting Zanzibar

I used This hotel before, is a great place to stay, service is good, very friendly and halpfull staff. easy to get around in stonetown from this hotel and has easy access, much transport to find outside and around the hotel. not far from the ferry terminal also. all in all great place, i would use again.

Great location for central Stone Town, helpful & friendly staff, very clean. Issues: high AC noise & problem with using the remote control to get temp settings right; TV set to subscription channels as default - no obvious free channels; no water in room on arrival, breakfast buffet not close to being laid out at 07:30 open; no bar

Good place for the price

Good place to stay in Stone town. About 10 min walk from "the main events". Felt safe and comfortable, good palace for the price, also the pool was nice. Did not try the restaurant at the top, but good food was close by as well. Would stay again

Location great. Staff very supportive especially. I was on 3rd floor and above is 4th floor which has the dinning. From 4am a lot of noise furniture continuously moved to prepare for breakfast. Windows not cleaned and look dirty when you want to open.

Hi, good place, nice pool, great roof top terrasse. My first extention after they gave me new room, due to to A/C not worked in the other. Clean and good pool, helpful and smiling / happy staff. i found the accomodation and location to be great for me. i actually extende my stay twice, due to the great service and advices from staff, when asked. at the moment the elevator do not work, but they work hard on fix it...for me, had not and impact on my stay thar is not working. recommend to stay, and i'd use the hotel again.
