"The hotel is on the edge of the city center and only 2 blocks from the ocean. You would have to walk about 20 minutes for a small beach or drive 20 for a nicer beach. I rented a car and drove all over the island. Maria at the front desk was very helpful. Parking is hit or miss aw far as street parking. "This was our second stay at 3 pines and I if I come back to Crete I’ll stay here again. Beautiful, modern rooms, excellent staff, pool, weight room, and roof top patio. Certain rooms have a nice big patio too. Easy access from the airport and a nice walk into the old town area. If you have a car they have their own lot with free parking. Highly recommended"

The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. "Truly a lovely hotel in an old and beautiful home that once belonged to the owners great grandparents. The hotel contacted us to get our estimated arrival time and one of the owners greeted us, gave us a map and explained the town layout and gave us great restaurant tips (try Peskesi in particular). Very convenient location too."

"We loved Lemon Garden! We stayed in the lemon house, it was bigger than we expected and full of amenities. It had so much charm! The outdoor space under the lemon tree was such a lovely place to enjoy a coffee in the morning. The host, Manos, was very quick to reply to our messages, and was absolutely delightful. We would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel itself is beautiful. From the outside to the inside, the commun area and the rooms; everything is clean with a simple and elegant vibe to it. The breakfast offered is vast and with a lot of variety, delicious as everything else in Crete. Location wise, it's central and you can walk to the port from there. There are many restaurants around the area that are pure gems. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The downsides were the unstable WiFi. We were told the bottles of water in the mini fridge were complimentary and would be replenish daily but they were not, maybe they just forgot. And the handle of the bathroom door kept falling off. All minor inconveniences that did not really affect us for the short time we stayed. Overall, recommended."

"Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was my room faced the street and at times it was quite noisy. Parking is a premium on the street but the hotel has an arrangement with the city for parking at 8 euro/day The breakfast was first rate!"
