"This was a fabulous find. STAY HERE if you go to Boston/Brookline area. Gorgeous boutique hotel with finely appointed rooms and facilities. The room was large (we had 2 queens) with kitchenette that is top notch. Luxury towels and linens, very comfortable beds, espresso machine in room. My expectations were exceeded and I will definitely return. Also had room service and the food was excellent. "

"Our stay last President’s Day weekend at Ginkgo House exceeded beyond our expectations. It is very clean, organized and quiet place to relax and enjoy. A big plus is that it is walkable to all the areas we need to go to and restaurants are nearby. Nancy was one of the best staff and she made us feel so comfortable. We felt like we are so much closer to home because of her hospitality, we will definitely return."

"Pros: Nice location, walkable to trader joes, grocery places, BOA etc. Staff were friendly, property lobby was decent size, no issue sitting down for breakfast. Breakfast was simple...mainly bakeries. Cons: No on site parking. You can hear next room's sound in the Bathroom...but it was ok, they provided ear plugs. "

Dog Friendly and lots to do nearby

"Stayed with a dog for a week while visiting family. Nice to have Target, restaurants, and movie theatre within short walking distance. Places to walk dog close by not great and a lot of snow and ice while we were there, although for a longer walk, you can access miles of paved trails behind the Watertown Mall/Target. Staff very friendly, our dog loved getting treats at the front desk! Nice Lobby for hanging out or board games. Armenian Museum in Watertown 2 miles away) is an unexpected gem and very informative."
