"The hotel was nice, it had a serene atmosphere. We used the pool, which was heated and that’s a major plus, we also used the gym and it was clean and well equipped. Our stay was great over all. The breakfast was fresh and they had an ok selection. Two unexpected things were one, that they only offer valet parking at $45 a night (not included in the Expedia rate) and two, that they don’t offer house keeping (we wanted over 5 hours for towels and there was no trash pickup or clean up during the 3...

"The room and place itself were very quaint and cute. But, it smells a bit musty, needs better ventilation maybe? Tons of stairs to the top floor so pack light! Great exposed brick and art. Nothing much around to eat or stores to walk to but nice location. Thanks Present!"

"This was an historic older place but was beautiful on the inside. It was across the street from River Street where ther e are many dining options and shopping. Within walking distance of all. Really enjoyed this place. Staff was very friendly and always spoke to us as we were coming in or going out."

"We are frequent travelers to Savannah, and this is our go-to hotel! The staff is friendly, self-parking is easy(next to hotel) and ell an are comfy. Pretty sitting area with a fireplace if you have time to sit and enjoy. My husband has a bad back and loves the mattress. Location is convenient and walkable to a lot of places."

"Convenient location. Wide variety of great shops and restaurants in walking distance. Parking garage across the street was great to not haul luggage long distances. Hotel was dated, but clean. Excellent service from the staff. Only criticism I had was the room thermostat. You couldn’t set a specific temperature. Either the room was freezing cold or very hot. Had to wake up in the middle of the night to switch from one extreme to the other. "
