"Stayed over as had a meal booked then visited the blues kitchen for some excellent live music. Hotel is 5 minutes walk away so ideally placed for nights out around Shoreditch. It was clean and comfortable, we were upgraded to a triple room which was a bonus as very spacious and kitchen facilities. Overall great value for money, only negative was room was quite cold when we arrived, but had a powerful AC unit that also quickly heated up when on, but a little noisy with fan running."

"It’s situated right near a busy street and a night club so it’s very noisy. I stayed during a heat wave and was on the third floor and there weren’t even shades for all of the windows to keep the sun out, so at night time it was so hot and muggy. Just overall not a very nice place to stay. Didn’t find the staff overly friendly either. But it was the cheapest accommodation I could find with short notice for my time, so I guess you get what you pay for. Had some regret I didn’t splash out a bit...

"Whilst we overall enjoyed the property and its facilities, we were disappointed that there was a degree of poor maintenance that would benefit from attention, such as non-functioning door furniture."

"Very comfortable, well appointed hotel. Soap/shampoo offerings better than what I'm used to in UK hotels. Breakfast was high quality though service in restaurant a bit slow. One caveat: Hotel entrance is from a courtyard off Devonshire Square and not visible from the street. Even London black cab drivers can't find it if they haven't been there before. Use 4 Devonshire Square address for cabs or Ubers than walk up steps into courtyard."
