The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "This small hotel is perfect in every way. The room was surprisingly spacious relative to Japanese rooms, and the fall foliage from our balcony was lovely. But it was the sweetness of the staff that we will most remember. When an Uber failed to show, the manager came out and hailed a taxi for us. As we were leaving, I paused about a half block away to check Google maps; my wife noticed that the hotel staff that was seeing us of, remained outside to make sure that we were OK. "This was a spacious, comfortable and unique property in a good location. It was immaculately clean. There is a Lawson store next door and a number of good restaurants nearby. It is in walking distance to the Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple. Bus stops are just outside and subway stations are very close. The hotel is on a busy street, but the room is well insulated and very quiet. It has a washing machine that is supposed to also function as a dryer, but we didn’t have much luck with the dryer...

"Amazing. I will be back. Literally a 5 star experience walking distance to the most beautiful area in Kyoto. Very easy to access anything you want; food, shopping, shrines, metro and trains. The staff couldn’t be more kind always arranging taxis or giving suggestions of where to go and eat etc.. I was sad to leave this hotel. That doesn’t happen very often in traveling. I will be back here one day soon. ❤️"

"The space had great AC. And wonderfully Heated floors. The tatami mats were nice. Very spacious and comfortable. The onsen provided a great hot bath experience with much needed relaxation after the long hikes to the shrines. The location is very central and easy to get around and can comfortably sleep 8. Good for 2 families in separate ends of a long room. The kitchen wasn’t quite a kitchen without a table Or sink but a nice big counter top and coffee maker. We were out all the time anyways as...

"This is a very nice and clean accommodation! I stayed just one person for 3 nights. Owner is friendly, helpful, and kind! Close to major bus routes. Shower and bathroom were clean and easily accessible. Great guest house, i enjoyed my stay!"

"I loved staying at this property! It had so many amazing amenities in addition to the onsen like the free late night ramen, all day ice cream, and morning yogurt drinks! There was a wide spread of items at the breakfast buffet for a great price. The tatami mat feature throughout the hotel was also so unique. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come back to this hotel next time!"
