It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. "I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! "I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. "The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy. The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it. "

"Lovely spacious hotel. Our room looked newly renovated and really surprised by the size. We also had our dog with us. Was great with her as well could eat in the bar area. Grounds of the hotel were also excellent for walking. Obviously helped with it being with a golf course so lots of space but nice walks in fields surrounding also and well layed out paths. "
