Highgate Independent, Sand Island hotels

"I would be hard pressed to stay anywhere on Waikiki, other than the Royal Hawaiian. This is a marvelous hotel. There are two walking paths to the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. One goes straight to the food court, which is awesome! The people at this hotel are beyond marvelous. I think I could write an essay on how wonderful this hotel is, in addition to the people who work here. The pools are marvelous! This hotel shares a pool with slides at the Sheraton. The Mai Tai bar and bakery are wonderful. The shopping is great, and there is quite a bit of shopping at the Sheraton next door."

James Yi (front desk) was amazing and my check-in / check-out and my hotel stay was wonderful! Loved all the classes: ukulele & lahala weaving were fun. Perfect location right across the beach and shopping & dining choices were great."
