"This was a modern property with everything and more we needed. The onsite restaurant is expensive but there are other options around. Know that if you only have a JR pass and come in at JR Nara it's a 3.5km walk to the hotel - doable in nice weather and because its flat or get on a bus! We loved the new, clean features and the practical laundry was great for travellers."

"Delicious and Beautiful dinners here. A bit of a walk from the train station. They serve you breakfast and dinner at the hotel. It is so much food you should skip lunch in the middle of the day. "Very nice corridor with classic music at a low volume. Double entry doors that bring down the outside noise. It has a small entrance space between those doors. Nicely decorated and spacious room. A choice of drinks and other stuff you might need in small vending machines inside the room. AC and heating working well. Ensuite sauna, jet-bath, shower, separate bathroom and sink. "Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. "This hotel was very clean. We booked a single bed room and it was itty bitty. We understand this is how most hotels are in Japan, but it was still a shock. Bathroom was comfortable and pristine. It was pretty conveniently located and we could easily walk to the train and bus stations."
