We had an evening meal in the dining room, which was of excellent quality. The ambience in the restaurant was lovely. We were not disappointed, in fact Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The grounds, including the country club, it’s worth walking around. The Ashdown Forest is a very beautiful setting , lots of walks."

"Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Right opposite beach and short walk to pier. Breakfast was lovely, spa/pool great. Had a relaxed time and great sleep in the comfy bed!"

"Clean hotel but a bit dated in decor. Corridors are sometimes confusing within the newer blocks added. Bathrooms clean, food excellent. Breakfast buffet well worth the £12 fee. NO air conditioning and rooms exposed to the sunny side are very warm. Fans provided but inadequate to cool the room. Would still visit again."
