"Perfect for my needs during business trip. Occupants of bunk bed rooms across the hall were noisy and hung out in the hallways, but we’re not heard when they had the courtesy to go inside their rooms. At check in, desk agents were unfriendly. But check-out agent was wonderful. Left an item behind, and it was easy to pick it up. This is the neighborhood I lived in for 18 years, and this is the first hotel that felt like home. I have three other stays booked here now."

"We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. It was close to many subway entrances and there was a pharmacy & Amazon Go store nearby for all of our needs. There were also a few bars & dining places around this hotel. We thought the hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. We did not experience any issues during our stay. "My only complaint about Pod39 is that the outlets above the desk never seem to work. I always have to climb under the desk to use the outlets to charge my phone and other electronic devices. As a senior, that’s not very convenient."

"Perfectly fine, clean hotel close to Grand Central. Good value for the money, large room (by NYC standards). Felt comfortable for a family of four in a room with two queen sized bed. The kitchenette our room had an ice maker in the fridge--which was an unexpected but nice thing to have in a hotel room. Plenty of restaurants and amenities near by for all needs."
