"I highly recommend The Vintage House to anyone who is staying Pinhao. It is a lovely property with great service, very clean, good food and ambiance. We had an early train and since we didn't have time for breakfast, they provided a bag lunch for us that included sandwiches, croissants, pastries, an apple and water; perfect! All in all, a great experience! "

"Probably the best hotel I’ve been to (and I’ve been to quite a few good hotels). This hotel was simply something different. The location - amazing view right above the Douro river. The design - beautiful, just beautiful, the room , the lobby, restaurant, bar, spa - you can see every little detail was considered. "The hotel is well located, very close to Centro Historico. It’s easy to get there from the airport by metro or by taxi. It’s very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. The beds are big and pretty comfortable. Room service is doing magnificent job. I would definitely stay here again. "

"A good size room, with large bath & shower, large comfortable bed, room on 1st floor - no noise, very good breakfast - great selection/options, all staff very helpful, very well equipped gym to accommodate all levels/needs. Good location for transport/train to airport. The restaurant meals however...very small portions (pasta dish) +50% for an average size portion. "

"Great location within walking distance of the Metro and Riverside . The hotel itself was very comfortable with good sized rooms huge bed and the bathroom very impressive with a great shower . We didn’t use the bar however it looked well stocked .The breakfast was very good with a good choice of both hot and cold foods . And wine too. The location ,we loved as it was easy to get around to all the attractions and the local shops cafes and restaurants were top notch. "

"Staff on site from 8am to 23hish, which covers most check in hours. They have another hotel building just steps away in case you have any other needs at other hours. The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable. Bedding for the sofa bed was clean and comfortable as well. Housekeeping every 2 days is included. The shower gel dispenser was empty when we checked in but the front desk staff tried their best to fix right away"
