"What a phenomenal find, we were booked at the Se Catedral Tapestry hotel which was a disaster so took to Expedia to find another property. Luckily the Fonte De Gaia had availability and we headed on over. We were welcomed by Liliana & Patricia who are by far two of the best hotel team members we have encountered in all our years, they are a huge asset to the hotel, all team members were five star but these two ladies were 6 star and could not do enough to help us, thank you Liliana & Patricia"

"Although it was hard for us to find this place but once we’re there we were very happy. The location is closed to everything. The staff is wonderful. The owners were very friendly and informative. "Lovely spot, right on the river but still quiet and close to the old town. The service from the whole team was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The room was very small but had everything we needed and as the weather was really good for February we were out all day. Lots of great restaurants within a stones throw. Definitely recommend. "I checkd in after hours and used luthe intercom at the outside door. Mariana was so helpful - you needcto pull then pushbthe door handle to open it after you hear the click. The breakfasts alone made my 5-night stay so pleasing, included fres made scrambled eggs and espresso Decaf. The rooms are a bi5 small but have everything, including doors that open to let in fresh outside air and the beds are ver comfy. If i had to mention a negative, the shower took a few mins. to get hot water and...

"Friendly staff, excellent modern rooms, great shower (pressure, heads, cleanliness, temperature), comfortable linens and amazing breakfast. Our only complaint was their cleaning product had a scent that was too powerful. We had to air out the room, but that was easy as the windows are enourmous! "

"Veronica was an amazing host, she sat me down and showed me on a map everything I needed to see in my 2.5 days in Porto. The apartment had great amenities including fridge, stove top, iron, and a great shower. There was complimentary wine and espresso which you don’t realize how great it is until you have it. I can’t believe the price to stay in this place. Amazing. "

"The staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to major landmarks and attractions. The hotel is very clean and there is a laundromat nearby (2 mins walk). The bathroom can use a better ventilator, it can get fogged up when you close the door completely when taking shower."
