"This hotel has a freeway on one side and a waterway on the other. The canal is full of fish sharks and dolphin and manatee. Amazing! But the freeway roars the whole time. And some of the staff would not allow me to have a towel without leaving my ID. And they were often rude and dismissive. The property texted me to see if I would be checking in early. "First time here! Staff very sweet! Loved the cute little cottages, with outdoor table and chairs as well as the docks and beach to hang out at. We also enjoyed being able to walk to places to eat and shop, and parks a close drive as well as other activities within driving distance. If drawback, if close to main road can hear traffic and the cottage we stayed in was small but worked fine for us. I definitely recommend and hope to return one day! "
