"The room was fine -- small, but clean. On the downside the bed was hard, and there was a fair amount of noise. There is no air conditioning or heater -- but the weather was moderate. The hotel is within close walking distance to the city center. But on the much bigger plus side, is that on both days my Expedia booked tour companies let me down, but the caring staff at Chankana Hotel (Hostel) went above and beyond to help salvage my entire trip! "The hotel itself is lovely and just what you expect from a Hilton property. The location is not convenient though, on a map it looks close to the main square but it's up a very steep hill. We only stayed one night in between stops and I'm so glad we didn't stay more. It's about a 20 minute walk down the steep hill to the main square and a taxi ride (10-15 soles) back up the hotel. There are no food options around the hotel so you do have to go down. Uber is an option in Cusco as well. "
