"Everything about our stay was perfect. It was a peaceful night kid free night away for myself, partner and pooch. "We arrive a bit early, 1415 hours to be exact. When we went into the front desk area we were told that we were a bit early for check in. I didn’t mind that as I knew. "DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IT IS CLOSED. After a 20 mile day on a walking trip we turned up to find the place closed. On contacting hotels.com they spent 45 minutes trying to find us alternative accomodation and having failed they hung up and never called us back. Left stranded and getting dark we could only find a place 40 miles away available and had to sort transport to and from ourselves which left us £200 out of pocket let alone a massive inconvenience. Hotels.com have still not called us...
