Had dinner at the jade river restaurant and tried the tasting menu and wasn’t too impressed. staff needed to be told to change the plates. very friendly but need to be more attentive. comparing with the fine dinner I had at the Grand Hyatt, jade river’s food and service and way way behind"

"This is a time-honored hotel opened decades ago as an official hotel for the Guangzhou Foreign Trade Fair. Today it is still a luxury hotel with many decor updates so it feels fresh and new while keeping a beautiful traditional vibe. The dim sum at its restaurant is quintessential. There is a direct bus service from the hotel to Hong Kong International Airport - around $20. Super convenient. "
