"Casa Puenta is a charming house on one of Valparaiso's many hills. Each guest room is designed by a different local artist, and the shared spaces in the house were full of beautiful art. The owners, and the entire team were very lovely and made us feel both at home and on a luxurious vacation. Thank you so much for a magical time! Like many of Valparaiso's buildings, it is only accessible by stairs, which is the only downside. "

"Wonderful staff and stay. Great wines and food. Location is a bit farther from the cool stuff but still attainable. I gave one star less for food since the floors seemed dirty in our rooms and left our feet black. But it is a dusty place. "

"Gotta say I was surprised and delighted! This place is like an artists' hotel in the middle of a completely artistic community where all the houses are surfaces for actual art. Made myself right at home and staff to a person were friendly, helpful, funny and considerate."

"Very cozy hostel. Location is really good. It’s safe. And has great kitchen area for cooking your own food. Also has a bar available. Rooms are well kept and showers and bathrooms are in abundance and always kept clean. Staff are very very helpful and friendly. Wifi is really good here. Great place for backpackers"

"The view of the Bay/water front was beautiful. But if you were looking for the beach you need to go further up or down the coast. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was more than just coffee & bread. You had fruit, egg, sausage, pastries and so much more to eat. This area was very walkable. As you walked the city the dining options were plentiful from Pizza to Chinese to local dining. Public transportation was easily found. The only disappointing aspect of the city was the Graffiti that was everywhere. But we enjoyed our time in Valparaiso. "
