"We loved the lake view from our Superior Lakeview Queen Room. We were also surprised to find a kitchenette in our room which was un-expected but useful. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which is very convenient and a great way to get around Queenstown. It as a easy walk to and from to the shops / cafes and attractions. The hotel needs some refurbishing but in saying that it is clean and tidy. We would stay at this hotel again. "

"It was great being on the ground floor with a grass area and a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Room was not ready when we arrived after 2pm and our room was not redressed until 5pm. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view of our room made up for it - would have been disappointed otherwise "

"Older hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Conveniently located. However, shower curtain mounted inside a beam, making the shower very narrow. Curtain sticks to you. Hotel sits atop a decent hill. No a/c in some rooms. "
