The steamboat leaves Queenstown's Steamer Wharf and crosses Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak three times a day, and the traditional New Zealand farm located here is well worth the trip. Knowledgeable guides will assist those without previous riding experience and will also share lots of interesting local information.Guides are also available for mountain bike treks but it is equally possible to simply rent a bike and strike out on your own.
