"There are many choices for motels in Ridgecrest so when we had to pack up our camping site at Red Rock Canyon State Park in a wind emergency and find a place to stay on short notice while sitting on the side of Hwy 14, we had to decide quickly based on reviews & price. If you're willing to pay over $200 per night, there are probably very reliable places to stay. For under $200 per night, this is probably your best option. The breakfast is so good that after 9am it becomes a public restaurant...
