"Romantic getaway, stayed in a beach cottage and loved it. If you love nature and like to see lots of it around you, including monkeys and parrots, this is the place Food is not great though. "

"This was a last minute hotel for us. The staff was great, room was spacious, and the grounds were amazing. The volcano view from our room was breathtaking. Definitely an all around great find and we will be staying here again next time we are on the island of Ometepe."

"We enjoyed our stay at the El Mirador. The staff is nice and helpful. They go out of there way to help and provide assistance. The owner is kind, friendly and works hard. Breakfast is good, coffee is hot and fresh. We stayed in one night and had a nice dinner on site at the pool side, lots of dinner choices. The views are spectacular and the grounds are kept clean and well maintained. Lot's to see in and around Ometepe. We would go back anytime! "
