"The property is right next to the JR station, where we can easily walk to the historic site and the long shopping arcade. The property is roomy and has a small dinning table for eating or drinking. The staff were quite friendly and the check in process was simple. "

"The staff at Ryori Ryokan Tsurugata were amazing. They are all so friendly and attentive. The dinner in the room was an amazing experience and the breakfast meal was a great way to start the day. We had a room with our own private garden which provided a great view in the morning as we woke up. This has been my favorite place to stay in Japan and I hope to revisit Kurashiki just to stay at this place again. "

The building itself is old, but renewed to good condition with a excellent restaurant, bar, public bath, beautiful garden, patio and confortable accommodation. Location is a little bit far from the train station, but just next to or in the sightseeing area. "

"Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. Had a bizzare interaction with one particular staff member during check-in who was extremely rude and condescending for seemingly no reason. Did not encounter him again during my...

"I'm very happy to have found these apartments in Kurashiki. This is perfect if you are looking for an apartment where you can cook your meals and relax in a home environment. "The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "

Great location

"It has a great location which have a bic camera at the first floor of the hotel. Also it is connected with Okayama Station via a underpass. It's great that I can prevent to go out from frozen environment. Also room is larger than staff are helpful as well :)"
