"The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Ibsen was well equipped and clean. I liked the indoor and outdoor options. Food was amazing. I would recommend adding the half board to your reservation. Transportation to station and ski resort was seamless. "

"This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "

"the owner is very nice and welcoming. our room was on the first floor and the shower was 2 floor under our floor and I found it not so convenient. the toilet on our floor was smelly. "

"Friendly, warm and homely. In the middle of the action with all the ski shuttles and ski hire etc almost at the front door. Also a lovely hot spar bath after a day on the slopes. Owner friendly and helpful. "

"The hotel is a small hostel type located a bit far from the main road. The staff is friendly and nice. There are no personal cleaning amenites provided like toothbrush and towels though they can be easily bought from the supermarket nearby."

"A little hostel type inn near the train station in Hakuba, walkable distance from many shopping and dinning options, as well as close to the bus stop to take you to many hill in the area. The inn is as charming as the Seiko the owner, a sweet lady who treats you more as family than a customer. A very affordable option for the area."

"The staff at this property are unbelievable. They go out of their way for you. The hotel has pretty much ski in, with access to the chair lift right outside the front door. Dinner is amazing, breakfast is not as good, but has plenty on offer with fruits, hot and cold options. The onsen downstairs was renovated whilst we were staying there and looks great, much more inviting. Access to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle just up the road, walkable. One of the highlights was the daily shuttle service to both Hakuba 47 and Happo One, making it incredibly convenient to hit the slopes without worrying about transportation. After long days skiing, returning to a cozy and well-appointed hotel was the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast each morning was a satisfying start to the day, leaving us full and fueled for our adventures. The hotel’s restaurant was another standout feature, especially the teppan dining experience—expertly prepared and delicious.
