"Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is in getting some upgrades at the moment. Rooms are clean and quiet. The pool and deck area looks very inviting but we didn't have time to try it out. Very close to bus routes to go to Takapuna beach. "

The rooms were spacious however the bedding was dirty and stained. The continental breakfast supplied in the room was generous and good. "Amazing location, loungers on the beach, fabulous beach front alfresco dining, on site restaurant served great food with a homely touch. Service was impeccable yet casual and friendly. Large rooms, nice bathrooms. The fit out of the room is nice but fairly basic if comparing to a 4-5 star hotel"
