"We had a fabulous family stay in the 2 bedroom apartment at Manata Lodge. Our adult family gathered from 3 different destinations. The surroundings were park like, the apartment and staff were very welcoming and we highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing, peaceful stay. We made use of the pool, sauna and there was a spa as well. Our son (ex chief) cooked beautiful meals for us, using the kitchen and the BBQ and we all enjoyed Oscar, the cat, sharing the love! "Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"
