"This property was absolutely beautiful. The staff super friendly. Location was good, about 15 mins walking to the lake. The staff helped me decorate the room for my girlfriends birthday which was fantastic. Only regret was not staying longer, only had one night in the Mt. Fuji area but very glad we stayed here. "

"If it is in the very heart of things—the train station, multiple bus routes, all manner of dining options, with a view of Mt. Fuji to boot (though our view was partially obstructed by an electric pole and transformer). It is a bit hard to find, and gave our cabbie a run for his money (we were driving in from another train stop). Better signage is a must! "This is a 2 storey single 900 sqft house, fully equipped, super clean, 2 full bathroom, full kitchen, free parking. Enough beds for 4 adults, they do have bigger unit, the major plus thing is the roof top with Mt. Fuji view. The roads leading to this place are narrow roads, that’s kind of a norm. "

"Really nice place, big could fit 4/6 people easy. There was only two of us so we had lots of space. Location was decent. About 15/20min nice walk from mt fuji station. You get your own private indoor hot tube,you have to fill it yourselves,theres a hob fridge and microwave. Also really nice views of Mt fuji. We would stay here again "

"This is an amazing stay experience, from check in to stay in the room, to the friendly and helpful staff and the services till the check out and the shuttle service. "I had accidentally booked the reservation under only myself, when in actuality, I was staying with my two kids and husband as well. The Receptionist handled it very well (despite the language barrier) and she made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great, very walkable and the view is beautiful. Beds were really comfortable. Nothing bad to say! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage Yushin and would recommend that anyone staying at/around Lake Kawaguchi stay here as this side of the lake was very quiet and not nearly as crowded as the other side near Kawaguchi Station (the side where Mt Fuji is). "Beautiful property and private onsen. Very spacious room (regular room) with great features like sights into the private garden, additional seating and luggage area, large bathroom and our favorite part, the private onsen. The onsen was a very nice stone material great for two and a perfect temperature of 42/107 degrees. Great bathroom and large t.v. Very close to views of Fuji, walk to the lake annd a few grocery stores. Also a great ramen truck across the street. Amazing to see that the suits are not much more expensive $200-300 USD more. Only con was the king bed was not very comfortable. It had two doubles put together with two toppers which made it awkward and pushed you either very close to your partner or very far. Overall would stay again. "
