"Beautiful resort, clean and great staff. We are foodies and the food was by far not to quality vs what you pay. Breakfast was fine but resort food should didn’t compare to restaurants in la fortuna. We will be back! No need to push people downtown….cheaper for + taxi both ways and food 2 times better at sodas and location restaurants. "

"Los Lagos was a wonderful property! The grounds were well maintained, there were so many different hot spring pools- we loved trying all of them! Both restaurants were excellent! The property is huge, but shuttles were available. "

"The Bauma is 8-10min drive from the restaurants and little shops. Near all the tour destinations like the Arenal Volcano and National park. Real good location. The room was clean and still looks very new and well taken care of. Clean glasses, dishes, microwave, refrigerator and even electric plate for cooking. Also a nice jacuzzi with a nice outdoor area. "Vey private sprawling resort with gorgeous landscaping full of huge rainforest plants and bromeliads, plenty of space between bungalows. Great volcano view and fun pool bar. Excellent staff. "Excellent place to stay in the middle of the forest. The view of the Volcano is mesmerizing. The Birds around the property are amazing. They put the food for the birds at 6.30 am and 1.30 pm, they forgot to put it in the morning when we were there. The birds still came looking for it as I was there from 5.30 am. Still the place was worth it. Reasonable breakfast. "
