"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"This was our family’s second time staying here and we hope to come back again and again! Tracy and her family are amazing hosts with so much local knowledge and a real love of the area. The cabins are very clean and have everything you need and the property is beautiful with so much greenery and a short trail that runs around the property. The breakfast is extra but we totally recommend it, there were lots of options and everything was delicious. "

"The shower's hot water is not strong enough, so you need to turn the water volume way down to have a decent temperature shower. The room sound insulation is very poor and you can easily hear the tv from next room. The room service is ok, and the bed was not set every day."

"Overall property was pretty good. Our room was on the bottom floor so a little musty smelling. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent, lots of hot water and a decent size towel. Breakfast was great! Common areas - where the breakfast is and the deck are nice. Coffee available all day was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. A road on either side of the hotel so lots of noisy motorcycles. "

"The rooms had a cottage feel but located close to each other . Our family in 3 rooms were able to get together in the nicely apointed lobby and the 2 restaurants. These places were tastefully decorated with very exquisite artefacts. It was also conveniently located close to santa Elena town where many dining options were available at a walking ditance. The staff were very friendly, courteous and professional The food was very tasty. Overall our family enjoyed staying at Sibu lodge"

Convenient location, good breakfast

"Casa Madonna offered a convenient location close to our activities in Monteverde. We did the Santa Elena Reserve and Salvatura Adventure Park. Both were amazing and Casa Madonna worked out well. The breakfast was good. Service was friendly and helpful. The room was minimal but the beds were comfortable. It was damp /humid in a basement room, but clean. They did not supply soap in the room, so be sure to bring your own for handwashing. "
