"This hotel is very close to the train station as well as a Family Mart and 7Eleven. The food options in the are arent the fanciest if that is your thing, but there are good places to try tonkatsu or yakiniku etc. The hotel breakfast was also good. I was able to do laundry which was not expensive and the bed was probably the biggest Ive personally slept in in Japan. For this kind of hotel it was a very good deal."

"Over all, it was good. But I always feel not welcomed at front desk. Cleaning crew are nice. The public bath is excellent. However many foreigners don’t know how to take a public bath. The hotel should let the guests how to take it with Japanese manners. "

"1 station away from Shinjuku station . But its also within walking distance to Shinjuku. Plenty of eateries around the hotel. We had a room with Mount Fuji View. For family , it is very convenient with small kitchenette and washing machine. Will definitely stay here again in future."

"Our stay in Galois was brief but memorable. It was a good place to rest after traveling all over Japan and well within walking distance of main city Shinjuku. Our room was clean and they provided so many amenities (even things we didn’t even think of). What was especially great was that you can store your luggage even after you check-out which was real helpful for our last day. Appreciate everything! "

"I stayed at quite a few hotels during my recent Tokyo trip and this was by far my favorite hotel. The room temperature was comfortable as often times I encountered that Tokyo hotel rooms are kept too hot during winter and there’s no way to cool them. This was not the case at Rose Garden. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Staff was also amazing and seemed to be fairly fluent in English. The price was great and breakfast was a reasonable add on. "Good hotel typical from the APA resorts, there is an onsen which makes it very relaxing after a day walking. There is also a breakfast option. The hotel is 5 min walk from Otsuka station. Please note that this is pretty much a residential neighbourhood, so there is little to see around. You will have to take te the Yamanote Line to get you to the main areas. However there a some good restaurants around."

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lounge was nice touch to hang out in am. Rooms are small as it is Tokyo, and some rooms have windows that don't open, but if you get a room on the side street, it is quiet enough. Definitely good location on the quiet Nishi side of Shinjuku. Would stay again. "
